My Story falling in love with heritage
My story begins in the early 2000s , when we became custodians of a beautiful Grade ii listed Inn nestled on the banks of the River Severn. Featuring Georgian architecture , original sash windows, and an ancient inglenook fireplace , I became immersed in the beauty of traditional interiors and the quiet elegance of the past. This is where my love affair with all things historical and heritage began.
A Handmade Home
Fast forward to 2008 , during the financial crash , we were fortunate to purchase our own period home - a charming 1930s semi with many original features including beautiful original floor tiles we salvaged and worked into our existing fireplace.
With interest rates sky high and two small children in tow , we had little to spend on furnishing our new home .So we trawled local charity shops gathering vintage pieces and gradually upcycling and bringing them back to life .Throw in some handmade furnishings and by sanding , painting stitching and restoring ,We transformed our house into a home filled with character , warmth and our story . I am always tinkering and renovating something in our home. our most recent renovation project has been restored our bedroom ,blending our vintage suite with contemporary thrift finds and hand-crafted soft furnishings to create a light, airy, and sumptuous Regency-core retreat.
My Passion My Craft
For over twenty years , I have channelled my creativity and resourcefulness into mastering a diverse range of handcrafting skills with more than fifteen years of professionally designing and making bespoke soft furnishings . I have helped many clients style and complete their homes with beautifully made to measure textiles. Your design needs, attention to detail and quality materials are my focus.

Sustainability
At House of Vintage Interiors, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Each lampshade and furnishing is individually handcrafted in the UK by me , using time-honoured techniques that prioritise quality over mass production. By creating each piece to order, I minimise waste and ensure that every item is made with care, intention, and longevity in mind. Our commitment to slow, sustainable craftsmanship means our customers receive not only a beautiful product, but one that supports ethical production and a more mindful living.
